Its unique porous structure allows exudate to pass through into a secondary absorbent dressing while maintaining a moist wound environment that supports optimal healing. The Safetac layer seals around the wound edges to help prevent leakage onto surrounding skin, reducing the risk of maceration.

Transparent and flexible, Mepitel allows easy wound inspection without removal and can remain in place for up to 14 days depending on clinical condition.
